What I really love about making 100% Natural Soap is how it is so reusable and waste free.

Part of creating soap is making the soap look nice for my customers. Once cut I plain the soaps and bevel the edges, which of course leaves left over soap scraps.

I collect these scraps over a week or two and then re batch them to make "Zero Waste" soap.....

You too can do this with your left over soap.

Let the small pieces dry out and then pop into a container or jar until you have enough to make another bar of soap.

Grate the soap up, put into a metal bowl, get a saucepan with a quarter of water in it and bring to the boil, place your metal bowl on top, then put a plate on top of that. Simmer the water and wait for your soap to melt, you might need to add a tablespoon of water to make it a little more fluid.

You may also like to add about 10 drops of your favourite essential oils to add extra aroma.

Once melted pour into a silicon muffin tray, then either leave to set or put it in the freezer for 1/2 hour - a brand new soap, zero waste!
